Crown is currently seeking a Dock and Door Service Technician / Mechanic to be based out of our Indianapolis, Indiana branch location, providing service to the Indianapolis area. Dock and Door Service Technician responsibilities are as follows:

 

·            Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install dock and door equipment.

·            Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.

·            Maintain a service van and its inventory.

·            Process paperwork after completion of each job.

REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Industrial equipment repair experience is strongly desired. Other requirements are good mechanical aptitude, Mig and Arc welding, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, and hydraulic systems.  Must be able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Knowledge of various types of testing equipment is a plus.

Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills are necessary.  Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks are required.  Completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical is required.
