Documentation Coordinator/Processor III (NCI)

THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) FUNDED POSITION.



The Clinical Monitoring Research Program (CMRP) provides comprehensive programmatic/project and procurement management support to the NCI Community Cancer Center Program (NCCCP). Responsible for assisting with managing the comprehensive and programmatic activities associated with the NCCCP initiative. Maintains site, working group, and subcommittee distribution lists and updates various logs and databases. Assists with tracking of conference call participation, accounting of subcontract activities and deliverables, and coordination of web-based presentations. Works with sites, subcommittees and working groups to identify relevant data collection, tabulating and formatting results. Assists with preparation of data and materials for annual meetings and additional ad hoc meetings, and for compilation of meeting binders. Coordinates the process for compiling and tracking all program documents and maintains master documentation and archive, appropriately naming and banking files locally and centrally. Liaison with SAIC-F ARRA project management/document control office for distribution and filing of program-specific ARRA documents. Assists with preparation of meeting materials and meeting summaries for site dissemination and storage defined by established document control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies and Procedures. Assists in establishing procedures for issuing documentation, tracking and reconciliation. Coordinates the review and revision of procedures, specifications, forms and other related documents. Establishes a process for the biennial review of approved SOPs in cooperation with technical experts or document originator(s). Identifies methods and techniques for problem solving utilizing standard practices and policies. Provides status updates to manager, as well as assists in the establishment of user requirements and appropriate work flows applicable to the NCCCP intranet and other document system requirements. Collaborates as necessary with various groups or individuals necessary to perform functions of the position. This position is located in Frederick, Maryland.



REQUIRED SKILLS: Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent. In addition to education requirements, a minimum of three (3) years of related experience including one (1) year at the level of Document Coordinator/Processor II. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Adobe, and web site management. Training/experience with creating and maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and other report generators. Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail including strong command of grammar and punctuation rules. Ability to gather and summarize large quantities of data, prepare ad hoc reports, arrange meetings, schedule work and coordinate the work of more than one unit efficiently and effectively. Ability to set up and maintain computer-based file systems. Knowledge of office practices and procedures including a high degree of specialized knowledge in administrative areas. This position is subject to obtaining a Public Trust Clearance.



DESIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Knowledge of department specific documentation systems and regulations such as FDA regulations for cGMP, GLP, or GCP.
