Position
Summary: The Donor Gift Processor is responsible for
coding, recording and processing all types of cash and non-cash charitable
donations received. The Processor’s
primary area of responsibility lies in accurate, timely gift and pledge entry
and acknowledgment. In conjunction with this responsibility, the Donor Gift
Processor is also responsible for creating and updating donor demographical
information as deemed appropriate. The Donor Gift Processor is also the primary
person responsible for maintaining donation record files. The Donor Gift Processor will provide backup
assistance to finance, development, special projects, and marketing, and other
administrative duties as needed.
Primary skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word. Computer
literacy, specifically MS Office Suite, Windows XP Pro. Ability to learn customized software quickly.
- Use of email (Outlook), browser
- Quantitative processing skills (basic math
through percentages, fractions and decimals, spreadsheet construction).
- Ability to learn processes quickly
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize
- Elementary database reporting ability
- Quick, accurate, consistent data entry

Education
and/or Experience:
Associates degree and two years of progressively
responsible and diverse administrative experience; OR, any equivalent
combination of experience, training and/or education.
