Under the direction of the DRD Supervisor, Plan and implement effective strategies to recruit and retain donor groups who will sponsor collection operations, work to achieve established blood collection goals, and ensure sufficient numbers of specialized donors (apheresis,, plasma,) to meet program needs. Develop potential group leads. Educate donor group chairmen in organizational requirements. Provide ongoing support to donor groups and implement appropriate special donor recruitment programs. Provide follow-up record keeping and recognition.
§ Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications, related field, or equivalent required.
§ Minimum 3 years of experience in direct/B2B/full-life-cycle-sales, marketing, or event planning.
§ Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.
§ Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.
§ Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is required.
§ Basic computer skills required.
§ A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
Applicants must live within a 30-40 mile radius of sales territory (no exceptions).
