This position is for local residents only.

                   Position Responsibilities Include:

·        Directs and coordinates day to day operations of drivers in your assigned fleet (60 to 70 drivers)

·        Tracking the assigned fleet throughout the day

·        On-time pickup and delivery performance

·        Out of route miles

·        Hours of service compliance

·        Driver availability

·        Accommodation of special routing needs

·        Cost control

·        Develops relationship with driving associates and be the point of contact while on the road

·        Maintaining service issues, home time and safety

·        Help keep drivers safe and understand what each driver is capable of

·        Track freight to its final destination to ensure on time delivery

·        Communicate with Customer Service and team leader when a problem arises with a load

·        Communication with a team leader to utilize not only your fleet but your peers as well

·        Manage Opti Stop Compliance, Variance, Trip Plans, Driver Payroll and Bill of Ladings

·        Conduct performance reviews to ensure each driving associate is performing to their highest potential.

The ideal candidate will have:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management, Communications, Marketing, or

·         other related fields.

·         2 plus years of experience in transportation industry

·         Must be able to work every other Saturday

·         Demonstrate track record of achievement and success

·         Desires a fast- paced, dynamic work environment with a sense of urgency
