Job Description
The Driver Mechanic position within the Brakes / Dynamics Test & Development Lab Operations group is responsible for supporting the chassis development activities for all Chrysler Group LLC vehicle lines.
Work to be performed consists of general mechanic knowledge, diagnostics of all vehicle systems, MIG/TIG welding, engine & transmission changes, electrical diagnostics and re-works to adapt to engineering changes. This is a 2nd shift position.

Basic Requirements:

Position Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years auto service experience
- Possess basic computer skills: MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- A.S.E. certified, strong background in fabrication
- 3 years auto dealership service experience, focus on chassis systems development -- tires/wheels, brakes, & steering
- Out-of-state travel will be required to support development activities
- Able to work in a team environment, strong emphasis on excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and teamwork
- Valid driver's license, no physical restrictions
