PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process/Expedite Dropshift orders and fax / e-mail to vendors.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure Dropship PO's were received and confirmed.
- Answer questions from Sales regarding products, vendors, and any information regarding Dropship PO's.
- Enter all confirmations and tracking information for Dropship PO's.
- Monitor the Dropship Vendor Overdue Report, and contact vendors as necessary to close out overdue Dropship PO's.
- Review A/P discrepancies and work with Accounting/Vendors to resolve pricing issues for all Dropship PO's.
Manage the All Dropship PO report on a daily basis (includes monitoring all D/S's and overdue PO's).
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact vendors daily to follow up on overdue PO's and request invoices.
- Match up D/S PO's with confirmations and invoices from vendors and submit to Accounting to be
ship- confirmed.
- Track progress daily on the Overdue D/S PO spreadsheet, and submit a weekly update to the Purchasing Manager.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma/GED required.
A demonstrated ability to learn by doing and taking initiative to figure things out.
