Be a technical leader who can translate the business vision and appropriate software technologies into a comprehensive enterprise applications architecture, and executable plans that will deliver the “to-be” portfolio in a business-aligned, pragmatic and cost-effective manner globally.
Develop global architecture methodology and standards and apply strong application development and architecture skills to the analysis, design, development, integration, configuration, implementation and support of Microsoft centric custom and packaged applications. Provide a postive influence for others to adhere to those methodologies and standards.
Plan Enterprise Applications lifecycle management by researching enabling technologies, working with vendors and conducting prototypes and proof of concepts.
Lead Enterprise Application Architecture Planning (EAAP) to create strategic target architectures and roadmaps that enable business value.
Provide project architecture support to create conceptual and logical designs, prototype, and proof-of-concepts as well as provide tier four support for escalated production issues. Provide coaching and mentorship to other areas of IT in your specific area of expertise.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Minimum of seven (7+) years experience in a technical setting, to back up your obvious talent.
Exceptionally strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Highly experienced with Enterprise Applications, specifically Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0/2009, including Financials, Sales Order Fulfillment, Mfg/MRP, HRIS, CRM/SFA, SCM, etc, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
Very strong analysis, design, development, integration, and implementation skills using MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2003, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and/or .NET Framework which will be used as you lead envisioning, architecture, and design discussions
Through knowledge of development methodologies (such as Agile, RUP or MSF) and tools (IDEs, CASE tools – e.g. MS Team Suite, Sparx EA, Rational Rose) is required. Particular expertise in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier applications on the MS .Net platform with MS SQL server is highly desired.
Practiced with each of the various UML forms and have deep expertise in the development of use cases, class diagrams, and state diagrams as well.
Thorough understanding of integration approaches (SOA, ETL, EAI, EII…).
Knowledge of engineering support applications (including PDM/PLM, CAD/CAM software) is desirable.
Great interpersonal skills, so as to successfully elicit comprehensive and detailed information from subject-matter experts, in both technical and business arenas.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and fast change and have an ability to adapt quickly and easily.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
In addition to excellent English, Mandarin or German language skills are very desirable. Dynamics AX, APICS, and MCP certifications are a plus.
