Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
? Review project proposals with management to determine goals, timeframe, funding limits, procedures for accomplishing projects and allotment of resources.
? Provides business implementation expertise, technical expertise and development expertise in NAV and identifies, evaluates and develops systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
? Completes small enhancement development projects in Navision to meet evolving business requirements.
? Develop and maintain technical and project documentation.
? Develop the plans and direct testing for quality assurance.
? Develop and continually improve software systems development lifecycle methodologies and processes utilizing best practice industry standards and tools.
? Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
? Assist with user training and third-line support activities as necessary to ensure successful adoption of software systems.
? Provide technical advice to project personnel and track project issues through resolution.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, related field of study.
? Technical experience:
- Installation experience with ERP/CRM Modules/Granules
- Knowledge of Microsoft development tools
- Experience with Microsoft SQL server and Windows Server
- Office Development troubleshooting (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word templates, etc)
- SharePoint administration
? Development experience:
- Experience – 3 years software deployments/development
- Proven track record of managing projects with a mature software methodology / process
- WebServices, .Net and XML
? MS SQL Server:
- High level knowledge in creating Stored Procedures, Views, Functions
- Solid database optimization techniques and practices
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- Transactional Replication
- Clustered Servers
? Strong software development and knowledge of software development practices, Business Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning and other essential skills are required.
? Must have a strong understanding of financial, accounting, logistics and inventory principles as they relate to ERP implementation.
? Must be able to convert ambiguous business requirements into system requirements and be able to analyze and resolve conflicting business needs when designing a software solution.
? Superior organizational, writing, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
