Dynamics Navision Project Manager/Implementation Consultant

Overview:

This position is with a well-established and growing Microsoft Dynamics™ Gold Certified Partner, with offices throughout the US.  They are actively looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Navision Project Manager/Implementation Consultant to join their practice.

The Project Manager/Implementation Consultant is focused on understanding client business and technical requirements while facilitating creative and comprehensive solutions to address business and operational challenges through the use of Microsoft Dynamics platform.  The PM/Implementation Consultant works closely with client management and staff along with Company Team Members to manage and perform all tasks and activities in the overall solution life-cycle.

Responsibilities:

•               Manage all facets of small to large-scale Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation efforts

•               Perform detail business requirements analysis, solutions design, requirements definition and gap analysis

•               Manage all project activity, provide project status and communication with project and team members

•               Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client business requirements supporting the use of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Platform

•               Manage and lead developer resources in the design, development and implementation of customized client solutions

•               Understand client training needs; train users on new business processes utilizing Microsoft Dynamics NAV and supporting products

Requirements

•               3+ years hands on experience in the design and implementation of complex solutions with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV) a must

•               Project Management experience

•               Strong understanding of NAV Financial Core (AR, AP & GL), Manufacturing, Warehousing & Distribution. (Expertise in Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Sales is a plus)

•               Functional business operations experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Inventory Management, Purchasing, or other key business activity areas

•               Experience with other Dynamics solutions (Great Plains, Axapta, Solomon, CRM) a plus

•               Consulting organization experience, preferred

•               Reporting tools: Crystal, FRx, Report Writer, SQL

•               4 year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent

•               Dynamics/NAV certification a plus

•               CPA is a plus

•               Ability & willingness to travel

Compensation:

•               Competitive base salary + bonus program ($85K to $120K+ DOE)
