KEY EXPERIENCE:    MOSS Administrator, Sharepoint, .Net, Gov’t Agency

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The senior level MOSS Administrator will provide professional consulting services to assist in the implementation of the Landmarks Preservation Commission and the client's Dept  Microsoft Office SharePoint Server project. The MOSS Administrator will have the responsibility of assisting with designing the information and solution architecture, documenting the information and solution architecture, and assisting with the setup of the MOSS farm to support the solution architecture.  MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:  At least 4 (four) years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom based) experience in .Net solutions design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and one (1) to two (2) years experience in MOSS / WSS solutions planning, configuration and administration of MOSS / WSS based solutions; Candidate should have MCTS 70-631 – Office SharePoint Server 2007, Configuration, and MCTS 70-630 – Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuration as minimum certifications. Minimum 2 years experience scoping the setup, and administration of a MOSS medium to large server Farm configuration. Must possess mastery skills in the planning of a MOSS / WSS medium to large server farm;   Extensive experience in scoping WFE, Application Server, Query / Index Servers, SMTP/Exchange integration, multiple IIS and site collection management in medium-to-large farm topology; Extensive experience in the MOSS Shared Services Provider, including Search, Business Data Catalog (BDC), Single Sign-on (SSO), Excel Services, Forms Services; Extensive experience  My Sites, site quotas and profiling of site usage; Extensive experience in the backup/recovery and disaster planning for a MOSS / WSS medium-to-large farm deployment; Extensive experience in the setup of web applications, site collections, and the SQL Server databases needed when planning a medium-to-large farm environment. Extensive experience scoping and deploying MOSS WSP packages for the installation of applications, updates to applications, and persistence of application updates in a medium-to-large server farm. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Hands-on experience with Enterprise MOSS Farm architectures/deployments Previous experience in Enterprise MOSS / BDC LOB Integration Solutions – providing guidance and administration of extensive BDC applications, maintenance, upgrade procedures and policies in support of extensive BDC LOB integration applications and use of SSO. Hands-on experience administering and profiling/supporting large farm deployments for more than 150,000 users and concurrency metrics of 25-50K users during peak times of the day A Bachelor or Masters Degree (preferred) in computer science or a related field from an accredited college. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Experience managing server technologies / solutions for the NYC City, or a State government agency.
