The Onsite EAP Counselor for the Raytheon Contract is a full time clinical position using confidential office space within Raytheon facilities to meet with employees who desire to access Work/Life EAP services known within the company as LifeResources. The Onsite EAP Counselor is supervised directly by the Optumhealth Corporate Director of EAP for the Raytheon contract. The Onsite EAP Counselor will be a member of the Raytheon Onsite EAP team who provide services to 22 Raytheon facilities. The goal of EAP services is to maintain work site access to the full range of LifeResources programs and to assist employees and management personnel in appropriate and timely use of these services. Functions of the Job: - Provides information and insight about the Optumhealth/LifeResources EAP program benefit and gives assistance in helping Raytheon employees' access services. Makes referrals to Counseling Services, Work-Life Services, Legal Services, Financial Consulting Service and Community Resources as appropriate.
- The Onsite EAP conducts clinical and solution focused assessments, time limited counseling and provides clinical referrals and /or community resources as appropriate for work/life, psychological, and/or chemical dependency issues
- Provides appropriate referrals to all relevant services to aid in the resolution of personal or employee productivity and/or performance issues.
- Provides short term solution focused counseling as clinically indicated.
- Provides Management Consultations on workplace issues.
- Provides consultation to Occupational Health partners for behavioral health risk factors when appropriate to ensure the members safety and intervenes appropriately on emergency calls.
- Responds to crisis calls and coordinates Management Consultation, Management Referrals and Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD).
- Interfaces within the multi-disciplinary team of other health/fitness providers affiliated with Raytheon Global Health Resources and Raytheon Mission Health initiative as necessary.
- Conducts workshops / brown bags on health enhancement topics such as stress management, resilience etc.
- Participate in Raytheon EAP team activities, peer support and provide clinical EAP coverage for team members when requested by the Corporate Director of EAP
- Will contribute to special projects identified by Raytheon and Optumhealth management.

Qualifications: - Registered licensed masters or Ph.D. level mental health professional. License must be for the state of Massachusetts and unrestricted.
- Minimum five years direct clinical experience with emphasis on psycho-social, behavioral and chemical dependency assessment
- Direct work experience within EAP, Occupational Health or Work/Life setting.
- Familiarity with workplace behavioral issues.
- Ability to work effectively among different levels of management, personnel and interdisciplinary departments.
Ability to work effectively within large corporate systems.
- Strong customer service orientation required
- Information technology proficiency required.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel frequently in an assigned area. This is a multi-site support role.
