Our client is seeking ECG Technician / Monitoring Center Technician - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

Earn $16 - $18 per hour at these full-time, temporary positions. **CCT Certification required. Applicants must be registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International www.cci-online.org.**

Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM


Job Summary:

The ECG Technician / Monitoring Center Technician is responsible for interpreting ECGs, QA of these interpretations, generation of reports, QA of reports, and communication with physicians regarding ECG strips.

Job Description:

  • Interprets ECG Strips and annotates rhythms
  • Creates reports for physicians regarding their patients’ ECGs
  • Identifies Urgent events per company protocols and follows Urgent Event Notification Procedures
  • Communicates with patients and with physicians regarding ECGs on the phone

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Degree
  • CCT Certification Required
  • Must be registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International www.cci-online.org
  • Customer / Sales interactions
  • 2 years of cardiac monitoring in an acute setting, physician practice, or other relevant environment
  • Must be able to pass a telemetry test
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent telephone presence to discuss ECGs with patients and physicians

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Some college or other higher education
  • 5+ years of cardiac monitoring in an acute setting, physician practice, or other relevant environment
