As a member of the Business Solution Development and Support team, the responsibilities for this position include:

• Communicate with Business Units to develop requirements and functional specifications
  
• Design and code new applications and enhancements to existing applications
  
• Develop test cases and predict the results from those test cases
  
• Conduct unit testing, integrated testing, regression testing and volume stress testing for software
  
• Releases tested applications, both new development and enhancements into the production environment
  
• Provide post-production support and maintenance; develop system and user documentation
  
• Assist in maintenance and production support functions for the core training system, back end customer and accounts related functions, and supporting databases
  
• Perform other related work duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Extremely knowledgeable in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and specifically ANSI X12N Transactions 837 and 834.
  
• Experience in analyzing, implementing and supporting EDI initiatives
  
• Application development experience/skills in Windows environments is required.
  
• Proficiency and experience with Visual Basic 6.0 and/or .NET, ASP, ASP.NET, C#, TSQL and relational data base, preferably SQL Server
  
• Ability to navigate large database schemas
  
• Experience with System Development Life Cycle Methodologies
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills; must be very detail-oriented
  
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  
• Good written and verbal skills
  
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
