EDI Business Analysts - Customer Set-up - 3 Openings
Description:
We seek highly motivated, and uniquely creative, software business analysts to join our EDI team. Successful applicants will have strong customer messaging communication, analysis and design experience – preferably in a corporate EDI team. Additionally, applicants should have experience with technologies such as EDI and XML. The EDI team is C.H. Robinson’s messaging authority for trading partner integration. We provide a full suite of electronic data exchange solutions including message management, transformation, routing, security and monitoring. Our goal is to provide solutions that minimize manual effort, reduce total operational costs, and increase the speed of C.H. Robinson’s worldwide logistics operations. You will work in a demanding and exciting environment that is creative, detail oriented, and absolutely vital to the success and strength of the company.
- Gather requirements (specs, sample data, communication details) for customer connectivity solutions
- Perform analysis and make recommendations that affect critical business initiatives for branches and customers
- Create project and process documents
- Work with EDI developers who will build your implementations
- Work with customers, branches and EDI developers on validation of test data
- Track project progress, status, and scope changes
- Create operational end-user documentation
Qualifications:
- Development experience in Information Technology with in-depth experience in business analysis
- Demonstrated strong communication with customers and collaboration with business analysts and developers
- Experience in delivering high quality, enterprise level solutions in a timely manner
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new enterprise custom applications
- Ability to shift rapidly between competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Undergraduate degree in computer science, business administration, software engineering, or equivalent work experience.
