EDI Claims Associate

MedQuest Associates, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novant Health, is a leading operator of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. With over 90 outpatient facilities across the nation, MedQuest centers provide high quality diagnostic imaging services using a variety of technologies including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography and general radiology.

Currently, we are seeking an experienced EDI Associate based at our Business Service Center located in Alpharetta, GA.

The EDI Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day duties of the Claims and Statement Generation Section as it relates to the Business Service Center. This includes handling the daily, weekly and monthly production of Claims and Statements. This individual will follow the systematic process for review of each claim for accuracy and completeness before submission. The EDI Associate will also assist in the maintenance of a compliance list for demographic information completed incorrectly by clinical centers, while working closely with them educationally to reduce error rate.

Qualified candidates must have:

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in a medical billing environment
  
• Strong knowledge of the Accounts Receivable process and EDI criteria
  
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 835 preferred
  
• Working knowledge of practice management system, Centricity PM preferred
  
• Claims clearinghouse EDI enrollment experience preferred
  
• Be a self-starter who is able to work within a team environment
  
• Systematic and thorough in process
  
• High School Diploma or GED
