EDI Java Development Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
7-10 years of experience in processing ASC X12 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions in batch and real-time environments
Development experience with Open Systems (Java or .NET) environments (essential)
Experience with migration of healthcare applications is desired, but our client will consider any migration experience
Experience with any EDI translation software (Gentran, TLE, Sun JCAPS, etc.) in the healthcare industry is desired (will consider commercial EDI experience as a substitute)
Experience with customization of EDI translation software in the area of application and database interface development
Ideally, the candidate would have hands-on experience in design, development, implementation, and production activities associated with applications involving X12 data standards
Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA is a plus
Knowledge and experience with CMMI methodology is a plus
