EDI Mapping Developer / Programmer - 8 Openings (Entry Level to Less Than 5 Years)
Description:
We seek highly motivated software developers / programmers to join our EDI team. Successful candidates will have familiarity with ANSI EDI and Sterling's GIS tools. Candidates with MIS degrees are preferred. The EDI team is responsible for setting up and maintaining maps and workflows connecting over 1000 trading partners with C.H. Robinson's core suite of transportation management systems. This position will drive creation of complex trading partner setups and will be fast-paced and highly rewarding. It offers a diverse set of challenges including interfacing with multiple target systems and business groups. EDI is central to C.H. Robinson's business, and our team is going through a period of rapid expansion with abundant opportunities for career progression and personal growth.
- Create maps and workflows
- Produce technical documents
- Participate in the creation of standards and processes for the EDI team
- Interface with internal and external clients
- Manage interfaces with multiple custom-built applications
- Design and implement new metrics and reporting for our business sponsors
- Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure specialists, DBAs, and business analysts to deliver innovative solutions to complex mapping and workflow problems
Qualifications:
- Entry Level to less than 4 years experience
- Familiarity with EDI standards and systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience delivering enterprise-level solutions in a timely manner with high quality
- Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously
Undergraduate degree in computer science, business administration, software engineering, or equivalent work experience.
