Apache Corporation is an independent oil and gas exploration company with revenue exceeding $10 billion annually.  We are searching for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist.

Duties:  Develop standards, perform audits, interpret safety/environmental rules and regulations.  Assist in developing programs and policies.  Manage other technical experts contracted by the company.  Serve as liaison with industry peers and governmental agencies.  Interface with other company departments such as engineering, purchasing, accounting and public relations.  Conduct incident investigations and worldwide audits of EH&S programs, procedures and field activities.

Experience/Requirements:

  6-10  years experience;
  
  
• 
  
  Bachelors degree in Safety or Environmental field;
  
  
• 
  
  Professional certifications are a definite plus;
  
  
• 
  
  30% travel.
