About the Job

EHS Professional   

Midwest manufacturer has an opportunity for an EHS   Professional.

You will be responsible for:
  • Implementing and monitoring   safety policies and programs
  • Counseling safety & health   and operational management staff
  •  Identifying and eliminating   potential risks and hazards
  • Implementing pollution control   and prevention measures
  • Managing the department budget   and resources 
  • Overseeing permit and   regulatory record keeping programs 
  • Interacting with regulatory   agencies as necessary

To qualify, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s   degree in engineering, safety or an environmental field
  • Knowledge of   industrial hygiene, ergonomics, manufacturing processes, performance   improvement and environmental regulations 
  • Dynamic personality with a   proven track record as a leader  
  • Ability to work effectively   and amicably with a diverse population 
  • Superior analytical,   communication and problem-solving skills
