As a member of the Electrical Design group, this position will support various defense and avionics program activities. This position requires an individual with proven organizational skills and strong experience in circuit card design, and modern embedded design.

The successful applicant will perform in Lead Electrical Engineering roles providing technical expertise in digital and embedded electronics. Defense product development experience is a plus.  Duties will include project planning, project leadership, and design responsibilities.

• Cable Design
• Requirements development
• Design simulation and analysis using automated methods
• Formal design verification
• Lead the fabrication and assembly of new prototypes
• System integration and troubleshooting
• Production transition and support, field support.
• Development of Special Test Equipment
• Will perform as Lead Electrical Engineering on some projects, with responsibility for technical, schedule, and cost.
• Multi-tasking on 2-3 projects, with successful completion of assigned tasks
• Support other engineering disciplines and other functional areas within the company to ensure program success.
• Limited travel expected.

• BSEE and 8+ years experience
• Proven experience in product design and production delivery
• Use of EDA design and verification tools.
  Mentor DX designer, Schematic Capture, or OrCAD
• Embedded microprocessor PCB design
• FPGA based design experience
• Signal Integrity, High speed design experience
• Digital and Analog design
• Good general EE skills
• Action and productivity oriented individual
