EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
The Engineering Training Group is looking for an e-learning developer\ISD to work on technical training projects.
The e-Learning Developer will be based within the instructional design group and will assist with the design, development and maintenance of Web-based courses in a variety of formats including Captivate, Flash and HTML.
The developer will work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts and other team members to produce high-quality instructional screens, quizzes, interactions, screen captures, and graphics.
Many of the courses include audio narration, so experience with audio editing tools is also desired.
In additional to course development, the person filling this position will contribute to development and refinement of templates, research new learning technologies and tools, and help to standardize work processes and procedures.
They will also occasionally provide backup to the Web Integrator who maintains Web sites and handles the publishing and release of courses to the Learning Management System (LMS).
JOB SKILLS:
The ideal candidate for this position will have several years experience working in an e-learning or a technical training environment and have a bachelors degree (masters preferred) in instructional design, technical communication, educational technology or related field.
Strong writing and editing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly technical environment are essential.
