EMR Implementation Specialist

National physician’s network focusing on prevention and personalized healthcare is now accepting resumes for the position of EMR Implementation Specialist.  This important role is accountable for managing and supporting the implementation and installation of the company’s Electronic Medical Record system in the offices of existing physicians in the network or those that are transitioning into the network.   The service and support provided through this position includes delivering onsite/on-line/ongoing training for the physicians and staff.

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: 

• Initiating contact with affiliated physicians to introduce the implementation process
• Coordinating physician office timelines, equipment installations, system testing, training, follow-up and ongoing support
• Analyzing utilization, functionality, and resource allocation
• Providing onsite/on-line training as needed
• Managing/maintaining all user relationships, third party vendors, documentation, expense reports, site visits, and progression of each office

The desired candidate for this opportunity must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of three years EMR training experience.  It is absolutely critical that candidates have exceptional verbal and written communication skills (technical and non-technical), top-notch client service background, and skillful problem solving ability.  Clinical experience is highly desirable.

Valid driver’s license and insurable record required

This position requires the ability to travel approximately 25 – 30% (overnight) with flexibility to travel up to 75% during peak periods.
