ANALYTICAL CHEMIST / QUALITY CONTROL CHEMIST

DESCRIPTION:

Quality Control Chemist is responsilbe to perform analytical analysis on formulated bulk solutions, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products documenting all result and raw data per cGMPs. This position is directly responsible to determine if analytical results conform with all appropriate written specifications for identification, purity and quality. The candidate will be responsible to troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate various analytical instrumentation. Performs all functions assigned independently and reports any unusual occurrences to management. Start times and hours worked may vary to support production. 

Qualifications/Experience:

At a minimum, applicants are required to have a four-year degree in Chemistry or a closely related science with a minimum of 20 hours of chemistry coursework and laboratory exposure. 

• Analytical Chemist / Quality Control Chemist must have working knowledge of the following instrumentation: HPLC, UV, PH and KF moisture determinations. 
• Analytical Chemist / Quality Control Chemist must have demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communications and interpersonal relations. 
• Analytical Chemist / Quality Control Chemist must be able to work variable days and hours as needed.
