The Business Process Manager is responsible for the financial applications and solutions which support the business users and the processes in Finance, including General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit/Collections, Financial Reporting, Budgeting/Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets and Human Resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analysis, design and implementation of new system solutions and system improvements
Meet with business areas to define business requirements
Act as a liaison between the finance and IT departments
Manage IT personnel responsible for the implementation and support of system applications
Ensuring that documentation for systems environment, procedures and processes associated with production IT systems is complete
Assist in system reviews as required by internal or external review groups
Manage staff, including recruitment, supervision and scheduling
Conduct reviews, appraisals and professional development/career discussions
Serve as the application owner for all Finance systems
Manage key vendor relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related subject
5+ years experience with processes and practices relating to large ERP system in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit/Collections, Financial Reporting, Budgeting/Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets and Human Resources
2+ years in managing internal employees
2+ years experience with managing vendor relationships
2+ years experience with application development, including enhancements and fixes
Professional Certification, such as PMP is preferred
Technical Certification (e.g., JDE or Oracle certified) is preferred
