Sales Executive (ERP Software)
This position is for one of the leading providers of Business Application ERP Software Solutions in the Windows/SQL Server environment. Their office is located in beautiful Central California (Bakersfield), which affords a peaceful and affordable living environment, within driving distance to both Los Angeles and San Francisco. Our consultants provide installation, implementation, training and support, as well as custom development and report writing services to companies in the fast growth, middle and mid-enterprise markets.
They are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Sales Executive to provide assistance to prospective clients during the software solution selection process. Suitable candidates will have experience in the execution of complex sales with long sales cycles in the technology arena, and ideally have experience with mid-tier enterprise software like Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains and Solomon). Compensation plans includes a base salary plus commission and benefits.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Sales Executive are:
· Prospect for new clients.
· Perform product demo’s.
· Evaluate and document business requirements, determine whether our products will be an effective solution for new clients.
· Close new Client Accounts.
· Complete the sales process from beginning to closing in an effective and well-managed process.
Requirements:
The primary requirements for the position of the Sales Executive are:
· A minimum of 2 years of sales or sales support experience with technology products, ideally with similar ERP software; Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon and Great Plains) is greatly preferred.
· A BS/BA is preferred, but not required.
· An understanding of financial accounting and information systems is strongly preferred.
· Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Superior communication skills, both written and oral (including group presentations/sales presentations).
· Ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
· Ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goal.
· Ability to manage a long, complex sales cycle in the technology arena.
· Strong time management skills.
· Enthusiastic can-do attitude!
· A strong desire to win, yet having the utmost of integrity during the sales process.
· Ability to qualify and close complex and technical sales opportunities.
· High level of initiative to contribute ideas while working in a team environment
Compensation:
· Competitive base salary + bonus program (total comp $100K+ at plan).
· Relocation assistance will be provided.
