Position Description:

Manage the training program in support of the company’s global implementation of an Oracle ERP system, including program development, planning, and execution. The program should result in preparing about 200 power users, 600 typical users, and 5000 casual users to use the ERP system in over 40 countries.

• Assess users’ skills, training requirements, and knowledge gaps across the company
• Develop training strategies for appropriate levels of users
• Manage the standards, creation, and maintenance of course materials for 6 major process tracks (HR, Finance, Order Management, Supply Chain & Mfg, Procurement, and Services)
• Develop, manage, and maintain a program to train the trainers
• Create a user training program with course dependencies
• Manage the global deployment of the training program
• Manage the efforts of personnel working on all aspects of the training program
• Maintain records of users’ training statuses
• Provide periodic reports on training progress
• Recommend actions to remedy problems and overcome challenges


Position Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or higher
• 3 - 10 years experience in training development and global program delivery
• Experience working on large complex projects for a global company
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of employees
• Ability to create and deliver formal presentations in front of diverse and large groups
• General knowledge and experience with ERP systems like Oracle e-Business Suite, SAP, BaaN, JD Edwards, or Seibel
• Strong project management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Must be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and work with constant interruptions
• Foreign language experience or exposure preferred
• Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Oracle’s UPK product is a plus
