E.A. Consulting is conducting a search for an EVP Operations candidate.  Our client is located in the Pacific Northwest.  The company is a $3.0B private held family of companies spanning several industries.  The company continues to grow despite tough economic times.  As a result of that growth, the company is looking to expand its internal capability and knowledge base to support current and future growth.


Job Description:


EVP of Operations meets customer requirements by directing staff; developing and implementing purchasing, logistical, and production systems.


Responsibilities Include:


   Direct the preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.


   Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth, including facility reconfigurations and potential expansion.


   Maintain a sound plan of corporate organization, establishing policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession.


   Develop and install procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.


   Supervises design of hardware and software systems to assist in the smooth and efficient flow of information.


   Establishes operating policies consistent with our client's broad policies and objectives and ensures their execution.


   Evaluates the technical results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the Chief Executive Officer.


   Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.


   Ensures that all technical organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.


 


 


Skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:


 


   Bachelors Degree


   Ten Plus years of Operations Management experience.


   Demonstrated technical presentation skills at national and international meetings


Supervision, Analyzing Information, Innovation, Strategic Planning, Manufacturing Control Planning, Process Improvement, Quality Management, Vendor Relationships, Managing Processes, Dealing with Complexity, Supports Innovation
