Eco-Friendly Publication Sales/Advertising Representative
About the Job
Advertising sales executives needed for new “green” magazine launching this fall. The candidate should have at least 3+ years of print advertising and online sales experience. The majority of the sales effort can be conducted via telephone from your home office (telecommute/home-based). We are an eco-friendly lifestyle publication focused on New England. Sales representatives needed for MA, CT, NH, and Nationwide. Commission only (20% sales commission on all sales, so sky’s the limit when it comes to your income). Exciting opportunity to join a quickly growing publication with an excellent team of professionals.
Responsibilities/Skills:
- Maintain a sales portfolio of clients and generate new sales prospects
- Develop long-term relationships with clients and advertising agencies
- Excellent telephone skills, cold calling (previous telephone sales experience a plus)
- Focus on a specific territory (MA, CT, & NH)
- An affinity for an eco-friendly way of life
