At UTI, we know that every individual's contribution affect our overall success. Join a team of passionate, real people at Universal Technical Institute in Glendale Heights, IL. We seek an Education Director to perform as Director of the Education Department for Automotive Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assure top quality education programs and delivery systems
  • Contribute toward goal of increasing student retention
  • Monitor and control operating expense budget
  • Provide quality tools and equipment for instructors and students as well as a safe environment
  • Prepare and conduct thorough instructor and staff performance reviews
  • Hire and develop instructors and support staff
  • Provide enthusiastic and dynamic presentations to new students, visitors and UTI team members
  • Facilitate and participate in systematic process of evaluating, recommend and follow through on education changes and improvements with other campuses and Corporate Education staff.
  • Actively involve other management and technical leaders in on-going communication throughout our system.
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management preferred
  • 3 years education and training leadership at a departmental level
  • Substitute previous management experience in technical area
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Good leadership, planning, organization, judgment and analytical skills
  • Possess business acumen
