As a Sales Consultant for Honeywell Building Solutions you will be responsible for the development of opportunities and introduction of Honeywell's services to the local school market.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leader in the industry of Energy Efficiency and Retrofit.  Use your extensive knowledge of the education market space to help others in your area develop solutions for their facilities.
 
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Utilize relationships within the K-12 marketplace to identify potential opportunities for energy savings programs

  • Establish and attend meetings with prospective clients as a subject matter expert on applying energy saving programs within the K-12 marketplace

  • Represent Honeywell at local and state level education conferences, seminars, and industry organization functions

  • Provide ongoing support and act as a liaison to the Sales Representative during project development

 
Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading providing of energy efficiency solutions worldwide. HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management


 

Basic Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 5 years education leadership experience in local market

  • Minimum 5 years maintaining relationships statewide within the K-12 marketplace

 


Additional Qualifications: 
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of customer's organization

  • Ability to act as a Goodwill Ambassador representing Honeywell and not a sales representative.

  • Previous experience administering energy saving programs within the K-12 marketplace

  • Ability to operate with objectivity in regards to the process/solution 

  • Ability to establish credibility with the customer

  • Previous knowledge of K-12 school district finance would be a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
