Recruiting students for our institute requires a customer-focused attitude, an ability to meet challenges head-on and a passion for changing lives through education.
As an Educational Recruiter you will recruit adult students, assess their educational needs and explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered by ITT Technical Institute. This position requires the flexibility to work evening and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Use telephone and e-mail to identify and interview interested high school students to determine their educational needs, concerns and interests.
- Match prospective student needs with ITT Technical Institute's educational services.
- Closely assist and mentors students through admissions process.
- Verbally communicates approved presentations to promote programs to prospective high school students and their families.
- Attends group recruiting meets and other meetings as required.
- Participates in Orientation/Registration Day proceedings for new students.
- Generate referral business to help maintain company goals.
- Participates in school retention efforts maintaining productive contact with his/her active students through graduation.
- Actively participates in special recruiting promotional activities.
Required Skills- College degree in marketing, business or related area preferred.
- Previous direct telemarketing sales experience, preferably in admissions, recruiting or other intangible sales.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse customer base.
- Must be available to work evening, day and weekend hours.
- Evening Hours and Occasional Saturdays required.
