Our team of field sales professionals is dedicated to creating a technology enhanced learning environment that is instructor friendly, having received extensive training in understanding the day to day needs of educators. The goal of our Regional Directors is to promote SMART and other interactive technology throughout a defined territory to assist teachers, administrators, and IT Directors with the challenges of engaging students. As a Regional Director, you will ensure that our potential customers purchase the right technology and the most effective training to insure successful integration throughout grade levels and subject themes. You will exercise your sales skills to assist clients in identifying interactive classroom solutions that support the most advanced curriculum and content standards. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Complete daily prospecting calls to develop new technology accounts in the K-12 education market-place within an assigned and boundaried territory · Proactively target the technology purchasing systems and those who influence the buying habits of individual school districts and/or purchasing co-ops · Coordinate daily on-site demonstrations that allow school personnel to make a hands-on assessment of the SMART Board and other educational tools · Demonstrate proficiency in product functionality and complete Factory Certified SMART “Master of Instruction” training · Meet monthly and quarterly goals for demonstrations completed · Complete sales reporting requirements through daily activity logs · Collaborate with Executive Director to develop strategies for individual targets and large proposals · Serve as first line of contact with customers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner · Ensure orientations are completed upon schools’ receipt of product · Participate in conferences and trade shows while committing to SmartEd Services’ sales processes and values |
