Electrical- Assistant Division Manager  

Manages in house electrical staff in the design of improvements to existing and new installations for power distribution, lighting systems, cogeneration, photovoltaic, wind turbine, substation design for public and private sector clients. Performs quality control checks for projects. Final documents can include plans, specifications, feasibility reports, inspection reports, cost estimates, construction administration documents. Must have the ability to diagnose problems and assess alternative solutions. Able to train junior staff in same.

Experience managing design projects for major utility companies, government agencies, industrial, commercial and similar outside clients required. Experience managing projects for outside clients involving design of photovoltaic, wind turbine, combined heat and power, cogeneration, and/or hydro-electric installations preferred.

Prepares proposals for engineering services related to the above, including multi-disciplined projects by coordinating with other departments.
