Don’t think for a second that this isn’t still the land of opportunity!  If you are an experienced electrical pm on large multi-million dollar projects and aspire to run a large electrical construction firm in the next 4 years then you’ll need a clear path…and a clear plan.  You’ll also have to be in the right place at the right time…and this may be that place and time!

 

There are some key ingredients that make this opportunity very unique.  First they have a very large new electrical contract on the books ($50+ Million) that they need a senior level manager to run – it will span 2 to 3 years and the Sr. PM will have multiple staff project managers and administrators reporting.  Second, their top electrical executive is planning to retire in about 4 years, so this is the perfect time to groom his successor.  After successfully completing this mega project, you will come back into the office to oversee operations (pm’s and estimators) and finish the preparations for the succession plan.  In other words, this is a pretty simple plan for the right person to rise to the top executive role.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·        15+ years of project management progression in large scale commercial/industrial/institutional/healthcare electrical construction. 

·        Direct hire electrical labor (prefer experience with union contractors) background.

·        Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or technology

·        Steady career-oriented stable work history.

·        Strong estimating, field operations and knowledge of construction contracts.
