Electrical Control Systems Engineer
About the Job
We have IMMEDIATE openings in the Denver office for Electrical/Control Systems Engineers. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in: engineering design, specifications, contractor support, programming and startup of industrial process, packaging and utility automation control systems, electrical power distribution systems and communication systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
- BS in Electrical / Computer Engineering plus 3 – 5 years of related experience
- Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following control platforms:
- Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PlantPAx, ControlLogix, PLC – 5
- Siemens S7 and S5
- DeltaV
- Experience and proficiency with at least one of the following HMI platforms:
- Rockwell FactoryTalk (ME and SE),
- WonderWare System Platform and InTouch
- GE Fanuc Proficy
- DeltaV
- Proficiency in design and specifications of switchgear, MCCs, panelboards, lighting panels and utility power.
- Experience with instrumentation specification and integration into industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of applying NEC to manufacturing facilities and systems desired.
- Expertise in PFD and P&ID interpretation desired.
- Ability to communicate effectively (writing and verbal) in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel periodically.
- Prior experience in one of the following industries required: food and beverage, brewing, chemicals, consumer products, pharmaceutical/life science, or other FDA-regulated industry.
- PE License a plus but not required.
