Heraeus Noblelight is searching to add an Electrical Controls Designer to our Buford GA facility.  This position designs, quotes and supports industrial controls and integration for electro-mechanical products and systems.

Job Duties:
-Develops conceptual electro-mechanical solutions by studying customer requirements.
-Prepares detailed cost estimates and outline specifications.
-Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests from Sales, Operations and Customers.
-Produces detailed manufacturing specifications, including controls and panel drawings, for electrical systems  utilizing AutoCad electrical design package.
 -Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system   capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
-Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
-Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
-Assists in other areas of the business as required.

Skills/Qualifications:
-Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
-Experienced in the use of computer-aided design and software development; preferably AutoCad Inventor, AutoCad Electrical, Allen-Bradley, Siemens.
-An excellent hands-on problem solver with at least 5 years engineering or industrial electrical maintenance experience gained within the process industry.
-A good understanding of controls systems and manufacturing methods with emphasis on closed-loop PID process control.
-Familiarity with NEC and UL electrical standards.
-Working knowledge of standard industrial communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, Ethernet IP, Profibus.
-Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
-Self motivated, can work on own initiative, or as part of a team.
-Enthusiastic, well organized and has an attention for detail.
