We have an immediate need for a Electrical Designer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Experienced electrical designer who can fully develop power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications, etc. design under the supervision of an engineer. Local candidates preferred. Expect the electrical designer to be capable of
- developing single line diagrams from sketches, notes and motor lists,
- Sizing power wiring, conduits, etc.
- preparing lighting calculations and developing lighting plans from a design basis, and direction from the engineer
- Developing fixture schedules, panel schedules, and related design documents
- preparing fire alarm and security plans from design a design basis, and direction from the engineer
- Preparing communications plans from design a design basis, and direction from the engineer
- Preparing grounding plans and details from the project design a design basis, and direction from the engineer
- Preparing all drawings on CADD (Microstation and/or AutoCAD CADD)
Location: Columbia, MD
Duration: Long Term
