Position Description

Electrical EIT

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA
Must have 3+ years of experience with utility long-range electric power distribution system planning.


This work includes evaluating existing electric utility systems, along with anticipated growth, and making
recommendations related to system expansion and maintenance over periods of 5, 10 and 20 years.

The work will include performing load flow analysis, system coordination studies, load projection studies, construction cost estimating and the economics related to proposed system improvements.

Additionally, the work includes design of power distribution and substation facilities. 

 BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited undergraduate program and EI registration is
required.
