Position open for Aviation electrical engineer with educational background and interest in airport airfield electrical design to develop plans, specifications, and estimates on assigned tasks in accordance with sound engineering practice and good judgment. Candidate will be technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigations and construction reviews; detailed site layout, and calculations; quantity estimates; detailed checking of design computations done by others; and general coordination of various design aspects of multi-disciplined projects. Candidate should be comfortable completing drawing set-up and providing direction to CAD technician personnel in preparing design drawings, and committed to quality work. This position will work on a project team generally for medium and large aviation planning and design projects. This person is expected to work in a team atmosphere, bring professional design capabilities to the team, and to organize, schedule, and prioritize assignments and tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and 0 to 4 years work experience in relevant electrical engineering field, plus EIT certificate. Ability to work in AutoCAD preferred.
