Electrical Engineer – Home Robots Division

Location: Bedford, MA
 
We seek an experienced Electrical Engineer for our Home Robots Division Advanced Development Group. In this role, you will be responsible for robotics component technology and new product concept development. The successful candidate will be a strong individual contributor and will excel as part of a high-performance, multi-disciplinary development team.
 
The focus will be on microcontroller/microprocessor-based robotic platforms with a strong emphasis on sensor development, motion control, portable power, and human machine interface.


Requirements/Qualifications:
 
  • BSEE required; advanced degree preferred.
 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the following areas:
    • Low-noise analog circuit design (video, audio, sensor signal processing)
    • Digital design (uC and uP system interface, CPLDs, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS232)
    • High-volume/low-cost consumer product design and DFM.
    • Design for EMC/ESD immunity.
    • Schematic entry and printed circuit board layout using EDA tools.
 
  • Familiarity with the following is a plus:
o        Mobile robotic systems
o        FPGA programming (Verilog or VHDL)
o        Medical system design
o        PCAD or Altium Designer, MicroCAP or PSPICE, Matlab
