JOB PURPOSE:


To provide design, development, and standard product support for miniature robotic systems and related controllers as an Electrical Engineer.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Perform electrical hardware and software engineering tasks, including:


- Participate in new product development as an effective member of the design team.


- Support standard product activities, including troubleshooting manufacturing, lab and field issues.


- Guide development process to produce practical, manufacturing ready designs.


- Identification and application of design standards.


- Development of schedules and test plans.


 


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:


- BS degree in Electrical Engineering.


- 2+ years experience and a background in the following areas is required:


    - Development of digital and analog circuits.


   - Development of embedded control hardware.


   - Experience in design analysis tools and techniques.


   - Microcontroller programming in C/C++.


   - Control Theory/Closed Loop Motor Control.


   - Analog RF amplifier design, knowledge of spectrum and network analyzers.


   - Computer Vision/Vision Compression experience is highly desirable.


   - Smart battery and fuel gauging circuit design experience is highly desirable.


   - Radio and Sensor integration experience is highly desirable.


 


 


   - Must possess the ability to design for manufacturing and assembly.


   - Must possess the ability to work well in a team environment.
