Job Description: A major chemical manufacturer is looking for a growth oriented Electrical Engineer for either of its (3) locations of Philadelphia, Kansas City, and/or Chicago.

• Will design, develop, test, and supervise the electrical equipment.
• Equipment includes: electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, power generation, power distribution, controls, transmission devices, and transformers.
• Assume proper design, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Assume efficient and effective utilization of maintenance manpower, tools, and equipment for day to day technical and maintenance support of the chemical plant operations.
• Will help in Capital Projects programs for new equipment and major repairs.
• Plan layout of electric power generation plants and distribution lines and stations.

Job Requirements:  

• B.S. Electrical Engineering; M.S. a plus 
• 10 + years Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing setting
• Power Distribution experience a must.
• DCS and PLC experience a plus.
• Ability to grow upward in company.
• Computer knowledge needed.
