Engineering – Senior Electrical PE a MUST
Location: Burke, VA, Washington Suburb
Successful candidates will have 7-10 years experience in designing basic Electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and government buildings. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with P.E. a MUST. Candidates should be proficient with AutoCad and engineering design tools. Knowledge of telecom and fire alarm systems are advantageous to the types of projects in our office. U.S. citizenship required.
Skills:
· Understanding of lighting and power design tasks associated with electrical design · Understanding and knowledge of construction documents. · Ability to execute designated tasks for assigned projects · Understanding and willingness to research regulatory building codes and a working knowledge of current construction materials and methods · Experience in design production techniques, including computer software and use of Autocad and Revit · Effective communication skills and experience in inter-disciplinary coordination. Description of Duties and Applications: · Electrical systems design and analysis · Preparation of Electrical and Load Calculations · Site Survey to evaluate existing conditions · Preparation of engineering reports · Budgetary cost estimating Applicants selected may be subject to a background investigation.
