ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS – Junior and Senior positions.

A number of positions available with our client who specializes in energy optimization for commercial buildings. Opening a second office on East Coast – potentially Pennsylvania, Maryland or Washington, D.C.

Job Profiles:

(1) Senior Electrical Engineer

Minimum qualification - Degree qualified Electrical Engineer; EE (& PE desirable but not essential); At least 10 years US experience; Design experience.

Specific Experience in all or some of the following areas

-       Power Quality Improvement including power factor correction design, installation and operation

-       Electrical power systems design for commercial and industrial buildings

-       Electrical Power design & distribution for medium and low voltage applications

-       Electrical safety system design of Master Control Panels and distribution boards

-       Background in disciplines such as building electrical energy distribution, transmission, control devices, energy management systems,

-       Working knowledge of generators, transformers, electric meters

(2) Field Engineer

Minimum qualification - Degree qualified Electrical Engineer; EE (& PE desirable but not essential); 5-10 years US experience; Field installation experience.

Specific Experience in all or some of the following areas

-       Power Quality Improvement including power factor correction, installation and operation

-       Electrical power systems installation for commercial and industrial buildings

-       Electrical Power installation and maintenance for medium and low voltage applications

-       Practical understanding of Electrical safety systems in commercial and industrial buildings

-       Background in disciplines such as building electrical energy distribution, transmission, control devices, energy management systems,

-       Working knowledge of generators, transformers, electric meters

(3) Assistant to VP of Operations

Minimum qualification – Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2-3 years experience. Strong business acumen. Willing to do a lot of travel.

Specific Competence in:

-       Basic understanding of electrical design of commercial and industrial buildings

-       Multi tasking using latest communication equipment including, PC’s, PDA’s, etc

-       Clear communication in English, written, oral face to face and by telephone

Specific Desire to:

-       Learn on the job and take responsibility for detail

-       Develop the skills to be an effective leader in a Business Engineering environment

-       Organize and accomplish relatively low level tasks

-       Multi tasking using latest communication equipment including, PC’s, PDA’s, etc
