The Ryan Company, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, is a General Contractor specializing in underground electrical distribution, substation construction and renewable energy throughout the continental US.   

We are seeking a full-time Electrical Estimator & Project Manager for the Taunton, MA area.

Job Duties:

• Review and Evaluation of initial project specifications


• Review and Evaluation of Blueprints


• Prepare Detailed Estimates & Establishing Budgets


• Manage and Estimate Complex Project Requirements


• Manage contracts from award to completion


• Additional duties as determined by Executives  

Job Requirements:

• Stong knowledge of electrical construction.  Some knowledge of site and civil construction a plus.


• Works with numbers accurately


• Self Motivated


• Understands and can execute take-offs of construction documents


• Transportation, electrical, communications or other contracting/educational experience


• Familiarity with principals of cost estimating (computer based)


• Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Primavera SureTrak/P3; Cost estimation programs 


• Highly Organized


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to work independently and stay focused  

Preferred Extras:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering


• Previous Experience in estimating large complex projects


• Previous experience in project estimating/management of large scale electrical/power distribution and generating facilities
