This position of Electrical Engineer III requires a successful candidate be fully eligible to obtain a high level DoD Security Clearance. The incumbent will review of site plans and construction documents, conduct site surveys, and prepare professional level engineering studies and reports. Primary efforts will be in the areas of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and the evaluation of lightning protection systems. The successful candidate will be required to participate in design review meetings and deliver presentations, and therefore, must possess a clear understanding of the English language, as well as being able to effectively communicate both in writing and orally.
Must have the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer License
- Eligibility to obtain a high level DoD Security Clearance
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience directly related to the job as described above
- Design experience including low voltage power distribution systems, lighting and control systems, and grounding. A familiarity with NFPA 70 National Electric Code
- Thorough understanding of standard A/E design documents including drawings and specifications.
- A high degree of self-motivation requiring minimal guidance and supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documents for submittal to Customers
