Sr. Electrical Technician

The qualified applicant for this position will be proficient with OrCAD to create Cable/Harness drawings and to modify drawings from Electrical Engineers. The individual must have experience working with a Configuration Management Tool and related processes to control the evolution of technical documents. The individual must have experience generating and structuring Bills of Materials for Electrical designs. The individual must have experience working with MS-Word and MS-Excel along with excellent communication skills.

The qualified applicant will also be proficient at understanding and troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits from schematics, wiring diagrams and interconnect diagrams. The individual shall be proficient with test equipment used to diagnose electrical and electronic circuits and shall feel comfortable around both low and high voltage circuits. The individual shall be able to rapidly fabricate prototype SMT circuit boards, cables, harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies. 

A high percentage of this position is working in an office environment under the direction of an Electrical Engineer.

Associates Degree in electronics with 15 years’ experience.
