• Maintenance High VoltageElectrician installs, tests, maintains and repairs high voltage undergroundelectrical distribution systems, and equipment such as electrical controls, motors, transformers, fire alarms, AC & DC circuits and switches, regulators and other mechanisms using electric test equipment and general tools of the trade.
• works from blueprints, sketches, diagrams and other specifications
• Low voltage electrical maintenance duties will include troubleshooting and repair of equipment, installation of new circuits, preventative, predictive and reliability centered maintenance
• Will be called upon to assist or support on other projects as required
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of technical school/electrical apprentice program or equivalent military experience
• Four years experience or equivalent with electrical maintenance/high voltage work. Journeyman license required; Master license desired
• Requires a thorough knowledge of vacuum, high voltage switches, transformers and substation hook-ups
• Familiarity with various electrical equipment and components necessary
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics required
• Knowledge of the maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems desired
• Ability to bend conduit, troubleshoot, repair generators and controls, install and repair AC&DC equipment required
• Ability to operate aerial lifts and bucket truck required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain up to a DoD secret security clearance, whichrequires U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Naturalization
• Valid U.S. driver's license and U.S. passport required
• This is a remote overseas assignment on Antigua Air Station, West Indies, and no family accommodations are available

• Must be able to interface with all levels of personnel in a multi-cultural team-oriented environment
• Some overtime required
