Our customer, a leading world-wide electronics manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced E/M Packaging Designer/Engineer on a 9-12 month temporary, possibly temp-to-perm basis. 

Job Duties

This individual will work closely with Electronic and Mechanical Engineers to provide packaging designs for multi-environment products.  This Designer/Engineer will coordinate with other members of the design team on project targets and schedule.  Will support and lead design reviews and have some vendor interface.  This individual should have at least  5 years of experience with electronic packaging, including sheet metal, plastic, and casting.

Qualifications

AS/BS is a plus, but not mandatory.

Minimum of 5 years of enclosure and/or packaging experience

Minimum of 3 years of SolidWorks experience.
